SENIOR GL ACCOUNTANT

If you’d be happy to join the Senior General Accounting Accountant role, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day record-to-report operations, including:   

• Ensure and support the daily General Accounting operations across key process areas, including Month-end-close journal entries, Fixed assets, intercompany reconciliation, accounts reconciliations, reporting, and General Ledger expertise.
• Assist team members in resolving escalated client issues, problems, or requests in close collaboration with the direct manager.
• Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve the most efficient problem resolution, implement process controls, and provide support to team members in meeting performance and quality standards.
• Provide quality support to Audit and Control functions.
• Actively participate in process efficiency reviews and the implementation of process automation.
• Ensure understanding and adherence to agreed policies and procedures across the Group to ensure compliant service delivery.
• Understand service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for General Accounting-related processes.
• Assist in implementing initiatives to improve the efficiency and/or effectiveness of General Accounting transaction processing. 

• A degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3+ years of experience in accounting.
• Experience in General Accounting (GA), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, with experience in a complex and international business environment being a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end Finance and Accounting processes.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
