WTG ELECTRICAL ENGINEER FOR OFFSHORE (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Offshore Development Office of the Ignitis Renewables team. You will be responsible for supporting the wind turbine team during the execution of the Curonian Nord project as an Electrical Engineer. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Managing technical aspects of TSA and SCADA interfaces with the supplier
  • Elaborating and reviewing technical and contract documents and specifications
  • Ensuring the wind turbine supplier delivers a WTG that meets project requirements and the Turbine Supply Agreement
  • Identifying and resolving interfaces between the WTG and other work packages
  • Ensuring qualification and acceptance of design modifications
  • Reviewing and delivering electrical documentation, including as-built documentation and maintenance instructions
  • Reviewing supplier's root cause failure analysis and corrective action documentation
  • Recommending technical solutions or changes to the project management
  • Advising WTG Quality Manager and WTG Package Manager on technical risks and proposing solutions.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design for wind projects
  • In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: on/offshore substations, cabling, and electrical interconnections
  • Experience in reviewing power systems studies and/or wind project connections is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
