UX/UI Designer

We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer who enjoys working in global projects. Communicating with backend developers, product owners, analyzing possible solutions and approaches will be your daily tasks and responsibilities. With your experience and knowledge you will make an impact to Festo Online Experience design, which reaches vast amount of users globally each day.

Your job:

• Design of UX/UI concepts for the Festo Online Experience (FoX)
• User-centric development of new features and applications in close collaboration with FoX project team in order to improve the digital customer journey
• Represent the user perspective in terms of usability, user interaction and a consistent information architecture
• Ensure an excellent user experience as well as conversion optimization in the e-commerce environment through continuous evaluation of user feedbacks, data analysis, A/B tests, crowd tests, etc.
• Ensure work results in form of design templates, process diagrams and prototypes

• Studies in the field of media/IT/design or comparable qualification
• Familiar with the conception of websites, e-commerce platforms
• Experienced with common design tools (Adobe XD/ Sketch) as well as good knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools
• Strong team spirit and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Good proactive communication skills and persuasiveness
• Spoken and written fluency and the ability to present in English

Nice to have:

• Experience in working with Scrum
• User knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence

• Hybrid working model
