Valsoia is seeking to expand its Baltic sales and marketing team with a new member based in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Role Description

Trade Marketing Specialist role is mainly dedicated to organize, analyse and support our trade and trade marketing initiatives in the main retail chains within Baltics. On a day-to-day basis, the Trade Marketing Specialist will help key accounts to build and grow company business through sales and trade marketing activities. Main tasks would involve production and implementation of trade marketing campaigns for our brands, develop and foster relationships with key industry partners, sales data collection, deliver market analysis reports, organise and implement promotions and marketing materials, create presentations, market check trough frequent store visits.

Main tasks, that this person would be doing on daily basis:

  • Full Trade Marketing activities implementation – planning of promo materials quantities, production, communication with merchandisers and print house.
  • Communication with customers’ marketing/promo departments due to ongoing projects.
  • Monthly Nielsen sales reports and analysis. Monthly reports on market analysis – competitors’ actions, sales correlation with those actions, Valsoia performance tracking.
  • Weekly store checks, leaflets tracking and price report file.
  • Analysis of promo prices and sales tracking.
  • Other tasks to help KAMs with sales in Baltics.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Economics, Marketing, Business or relevant fields.
  • 1 year of experience in sales or trade marketing related positions.
  • Experience in the food or FMCG industry is preferred.
  • A high level of creativity, self-motivation, and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to work with all levels of the hierarchy and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, work independently and collaboratively, adapt to changing needs and deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a timely manner.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Nielsen data analysis would bring huge benefit.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Also, knowledge of any other language is a plus.
  • Driving licence, B category.
