MRM Mining AB was founded in 2015 and we are a company located north of the Arctic Circle, in Swedish Lapland.

We are one of the leading suppliers of Industry and Public Works with projects mainly for the Mining Industry, tunnels, and relocation of Culture buildings, but also major demolition contracts. We specialize in larger Total & General contracts with design responsibility. Our customers are state and privately-owned mining companies, government agencies, municipalities, and larger multinational engineering groups. Currently, we work in the northern parts of Sweden, Northern Finland, Garpenberg, Stockholm.

Our operations include turnkey contracts, steel and mechanical structures, assembly, rebuilding, and maintenance of, among other things, transport systems and special machines. We also have staff, machine rental, and carry out advanced concrete constructions and complicated house transfers. Over the years, we have moved more and more from being a purely mechanical company to combining this more with construction and industrial facilities.

Team leader construction team

We are looking for a team leader to manage a team of 6-15 construction workers to work on a rotating schedule two weeks on two weeks off in the north of Sweden.


Duties include:

  • Planning of work, staff and material at the work site. 
  • Make sure project keep time plan.
  • Risk assesments and risk reporting.
  • Keep track of extra works in the project.
  • Communication with project manager.
  • Make sure daily diaries and checks are made for the work.
  • Make sure work is done safely.

Requirements

We believe that you work as teamleader or site manager today, with experience from concrete and reinforcement works and maybe also assembly of steel works. Most likely you have a job you enjoy but are starting to feel the urge to step on a new challenge where you as a person and employee will have a significant role in our development. Your language skills are important, you should know English both spoken and written, and preferably some Baltic language or Russian. We will reward you in terms of salary if you are also keen to learn Swedish when you start working.

We hope you are a solution-oriented person who sees opportunities where others see problems. You are structured and used to technical drawings, you are good at explaining things to others as well as working manually.

  • Ability to prepare a and plan weekly and daily for projects under your team management

  • Good knowledge in MC Office program
  • User of digital solutions
  • Very good at reading drawings, plan and explain how to do the work
  • Very good command of English both orally and in writing
  • Very good communication skills
  • Management skills, experienced in leading 6-15 employees
  • Work together with team at site when needed
  • Logical and analytical thinking
  • B category driver`s license

Bonus skills

  • Knowledge / Experience: Team leader or Site manager for construction work (Steel works)
  • Experience in the field of concrete jobs and metal structures
  • Basic knowledge in the field of soil mechanics
  • Language Russian, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Swedish
