System Architect

System architect with a responsibility for developing and implementing the vision for systems architecture, implementation of programming standards and KPIs, transfer of technical know-how from third countries. This is a senior level position responsible for Baltic countries (Estonia and Lithuania).

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for building system architecture, proper coding practices, aligning strategy with business goals
• Manage vendors to align their solutions with the company policy
• Works on highly complex ecosystem wide projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains
• Mentor and assist IT and/or other stakeholders on understanding new solution and technology elements and impacts
• Hands on in developing our core business systems
• Lead external development team
• Manage life cycle of a project, from design to deployment
• Align technical solution between other domains/systems.

• 3+ years’ experience in either an Solution Architecture, Development Lead, IT Technical Architect or equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ experience working with PHP
• Understanding of OO principles & good code design
• Experience in building highly scalable systems
• Understanding of good API design
• A working knowledge of Git and other versioning systems
• Strong Lithuanian and English reading, writing, and speaking skills
