Senior Accountant

• Monthly Reconciliations and Closing: Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, account clearing, oversee monthly closing in accordance with local legislation and Staticus Group requirements, and execute month-end journal entries.
• Accounting Procedures and Transaction Monitoring: Execute accounting procedures according to established process flow and timelines while monitoring financial transactions and reviewing supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Supervision of Outsourced Providers: Supervise outsourced accounting providers to ensure compliance with performance standards and maintain quality of service.
• Fixed Asset Management: Manage fixed asset accounting, including transfer and split asset accounting.
• Tax and Financial Reporting: Prepare and review VAT returns, other tax settlements, as well as annual and extraordinary financial and income tax reports.
• Team Coordination and Documentation: Coordinate with the accounting team to complete assigned tasks within deadlines and communicate with auditors, outsourced accountants, tax advisors, and other third parties to prepare requested documentation.
• Process Improvement: Review, develop, and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in the field of accounting.
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge and understanding of close and period-end reporting, balance sheet account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting in Lithuania/Scandinavia/UK. Well-versed in accounting and legal tax requirements (import VAT, VAT, income tax, etc.).
• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
• Personal Attributes: Proactive, positive, and open-minded with a cooperative spirit and the ability to work independently.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to cooperate with team members and stakeholders effectively. At least B2 English level for clear and impactful interactions.
