Job Description

Our client – privately Danish-owned  company with 12 premium furniture and garment factories, operating in Lithuania, Vietnam, Belarus, Ukraine , Romania and Mexico. The group employs more than 2500 people and has an ambitious growth strategy ahead. To take this to the next level the company is looking now for Senior accountant-team lead (for Mexico department).

 

  • Perform day-to-day general accounting operations, review and control related primary documents.
  • Perform month end closing activities.
  • Perform Balance sheet reconciliations, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
  • Provide support in auditing and year end close process.
  • Implement internal controls within area of responsibility.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Analyze data and extract conclusions for internal use.
  • Assist in preparing management reports and presentations.
  • Provide financial support in the budget and forecast processes.
  • Communication and control with external companies for payroll and tax compliance (payroll and tax are outsourced).
  • Supporting local NAV users.
  • Supporting local Mexico Finance team to perform according to standards.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance or mathematics.
  • Have 3-4 years of professional experience (senior or team lead role) (in international company would be an advantage).
  • Are an experienced user of the MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Are fluent in English in writing and speaking.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Are curious and eager learner.
  • Have a good sense of details and quality.
  • Are independent, self-driven, service-minded.
  • Have the willingness to take on new challenges with a “can-do attitude”.
