Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you will be working in constant collaboration with the Production Manager / R&D. Your role will involve managing projects, optimizing production processes, and ensuring the implementation of new products. From preparing cost calculations and technical drawings to coordinating sample production and troubleshooting manufacturing challenges, you will play a key role in enhancing efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Internal project management program
• Prepare cost calculations for new products, if assigned, primary accounting documents and other project documents
• Prepare drawings of products, molds
• To implement new projects, according to the given technical tasks
• Plan and coordinate production of samples
• Prepare requested documentation for samples
• Participate in preparation of product approval (PPAP) documentation (with Quality manager)
• Communicate with customers, suppliers regarding products and raw materials
• Enter new raw materials and products into ERP system
• Participate in the start-up phase of production
• Support production in trouble shooting (in case of not achieving quality, quantity or time targets)
• Plan, apply and verify production process of new products
• Provide assistance in matters of production optimization and productivity improvement
• Be involved in planning, applying and verifying in production process on new developments
• Consider requirements for function, cost and production needs
• Participate to the definition of specification for required machine, tools and material
• Prove process capability prior to releasing it for mass production programs
• Share results and provide training for production workers for released/proven process developments
• Scan internal needs for technology improvements
• Support Production team when planning/applying new processes for the first time in mass production

• Technical education
• Experience in production development, Project management
• 2+years experience in similar role
• Strong command of English (both written and spoken) is essential
• Experience in relevant sectors such as ventilation manufacturing/design would be an advantage
• Cost calculation (production costs) would be an advantage
