PERMITTING MANAGER FOR OFFSHORE (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Offshore Development Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be responsible for addressing disparities between Lithuanian and international regulations, aligning them, and compiling a comprehensive list of requirements for international subcontractors. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Interpreting and assessing international standards and regulations for their compliance with Lithuanian construction regulations
  • Ensuring that the project complies with the legal framework in Lithuania
  • Working closely with local authorities and institutions to ensure that developed objects successfully fulfill the required permitting processes
  • Acting as an intermediary between the Employer, Contractors, and other stakeholders (local experts, authorities) in the surveying, design, and construction process related to permitting
  • Helping prepare procurement specifications for service providers (experts, consultants, etc.) needed to ensure the Permitting team and Project goals are met
  • Managing the permitting process, assigned contracts, and documents
  • Filling out applications and submitting requests to authorities and other stakeholders
  • Organizing and conducting meetings, taking minutes, writing reports, and preparing presentations.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in an engineering field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a position related to industrial buildings or electrical engineering structures construction design in Lithuania
  • Prior experience participating in the construction permitting process
  • Good knowledge of Lithuanian laws and regulations on construction
  • Proficiency in Lithuanian and English (oral and written communication)
  • Skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication, representation, problem-solving, and a hands-on approach.

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience in the renewable energy area
  • Experience with high voltage (>110 kV) electrical engineering networks construction design.
