Job Description

Purpose of the role:

The holder of the position is responsible for ensuring a timely implementation of resolutions and requirements of the Republic of Lithuania, the management team of the OC group, and in-country company managers in the field of occupational health, safety & security. The person holding the position acts to create, build, sustain, and promote health & safety culture across the entire organization, and build OHS&S strategy accordingly and in line with TPM philosophy. The person is responsible for overseeing and/or conducting Security Risk Analysis & status review around the entire plant territory, ensuring plant territory and its employees’ safety. To implement the goals set by the OC company in the field of occupational health, safety & security.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating, building, and leading the execution of a long-term OHS&S strategy in line with the legal requirements of the Republic of Lithuania, OC international standards and TPM implementation
  • Organizing, coordinating, and developing the OHS&S department activities, setting and implementing annual & long-term goals of the OHS&S unit, in line with the strategic priorities and goals of Vilnius Plant
  • Sets the overall company guidelines with regards to national regulations, OC and by decree of the Plant Leader in terms of occupational health, safety & security
  • Advising the Director-General and staff on matters related to occupational health, safety & security at work, making proposals to the Director-General for improving the safety and health of all employees
  • Arranging occupational guidance and training together with Process Engineers, Quality Manager and OHS&S Manager
  • Ensuring production quality and its continuous improvement through TPM activities
  • Keeping track of Plant KPIs to ensure continuous improvement of Plant performance
  • Arranging qualification exams for the personnel of production lines together with Process Engineers, Quality Manager and OHS&S Specialist

Requirements

  • College or University education (preferably in engineering)
  • At least 3 years of experience working in Occupational Health, Safety & Security area
  • Good working English knowledge (both spoken and written)
  • Result orientation, innovative thinking, analytical skills
