Job Description

We are looking to recruit TWO Business Analysts to play a key role in developing and implementing the new Manufacturing Execution System MESTEC.

The Business Analyst (BA) for an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and Dynamics project with business change management - serves as a bridge between the existing (As-Is) and envisioned (To-Be) business processes. By understanding both states, the person within the role will ensure, that the MES and Dynamics integration aligns with the organisation's goals and objectives.

The role encompasses working with the project team to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and then - driving the transition towards desired future state, considering the broader impacts of the integration.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to elicit detailed business requirements, focusing on understanding the current (As-Is) processes and the desired changes leading to the (To-Be) state.
  • Process Documentation: Document and map out future business processes.
  • To-Be Process Design: Envision, design, and articulate desired future processes, ensuring that they align with the capabilities and benefits of the MES and Dynamics integration.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the technical team, project manager, and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity in communicating requirements, current processes, and envisaged changes.
  • Gap Analysis: Compare the As-Is and To-Be states to identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities that the new systems should address.
  • Business Change Impact Assessment: Evaluate the broader implications of transitioning from the As-Is to the To-Be states, highlighting areas requiring particular attention in change management strategies.
  • Solution Evaluation: Work alongside the technical team to design solutions, ensuring they meet the To-Be requirements, and evaluate their feasibility, costs, and benefits.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Validate that the developed solution matches the functional specifications and bridges the gap between the As-Is and To-Be states.
  • Feedback Loop: Establish feedback mechanisms, ensuring the evolving solution remains aligned with business needs.
  • Training & Support: Assist in creating training materials based on the To-Be processes, and provide support during the early stages of system adoption.
  • Continuous Improvement: Post-implementation, monitor the effectiveness of the To-Be processes, gather feedback, and recommend further refinements or enhancements.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong analytical skills, methodical, logically thinking
  • Communication and presentation skills in English and Lithuanian
  • Ability to work alone and within teams

PREFERRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Computer knowledge: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio
  • Experience / understanding of manufacturing systems
