MAINTENANCE MANAGER (F/M/D) I IGNITIS RENEWABLES

Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join Operations, Maintenance and Asset Management Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be taking care of all maintenance activities related to operational Wind Park, PV Parks, and BESS in Lithuania. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Managing integration of new programs, rules, and strategy to ensure smooth large scale renewable asset management
  • Leading a team of maintenance supervisors and engineers, providing guidance, training, and support
  • Developing, implementing and improving maintenance plans and schedules, safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements 
  • Organizing regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues early
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels
  • Coordinating external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks and repairs
  • Investigating and resolving technical issues related to electrical, mechanical, and control systems
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, working with engineering teams to identify optimization opportunities and process enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Automation, or a related field
  • 5 years of proven track record in planning, construction, or maintenance of electrical / thermal / industry power plants, substations, or renewable energy facilities
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, components, and control systems, with basic understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in using maintenance planning and management softwares
  • Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in electrical systems, especially for wind and solar facilities
  • Fluency in English language.

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience in electrical / automation / distribution network or transmission network engineering
  • Experience in renewable energy projects
  • Energy worker's certificate for work with medium / high voltage network equipment.
