Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the IT projects team of the Ignitis Group shared service center. We operate and innovate on a large scale – a team of 180+ talented IT people manages a portfolio of 80+ applications which require active maintenance, renewal and refactoring. Each year we implement 450+ changes and deployments to production environment. We are not stuck in legacy applications world – we run Agile development teams creating new software solutions for new business opportunities. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:  

  • Monitoring each stage of IT project or IT programs implementation to ensuring proper execution (process, artifacts);
  • Monitoring IT project or IT programs timeline, budget, and scope discrepancies against the approved baseline and propose solutions;
  • Implementing improvements of IT project management procedures, methodologies, and best practices in response to changing circumstances;
  • Implementing improvements in IT project monitoring – align metrics and implement standard tools; 
  • Implementing the monitoring and management of interdependencies between projects. Providing recommendations for decision-making.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience managing IT projects of varying complexity following project management methodologies;
  • Knowledge of AGILE, PMI (PMBOK)/PRINCE2/other standards and their practical application;
  • Knowledge of project portfolio management and its analysis principles;
  • Analytical, critical, and creative thinking with a results-oriented approach, ability to manage large amounts of information simultaneously;
  • Excellent computer skills with MS programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Power BI, as well as strong proficiency in Jira and Confluence;
  • Excellent proficiency in Lithuanian and English.
