Internal Auditor (Part-Time)

You should find it interesting to:

• Work with the Head of Compliance, Risk Manager and other senior colleagues to develop and execute audit programs in accordance with the legal requirements
• Actively look for ways to better our understanding of business risks, test controls and provide relevant insights
• Provide input and assist in the risk identification
• Interact with staff to understand relevant risks, controls and processes in the company
• Produce audit reports that identify deficiencies and their causes in a timely manner, as well as accompany these insights with recommendations on how to address them
• Follow up on how deficiencies are mitigated after being identified during audit

• Understanding of payments, retail banking, operations, risk and treasury processes
• Knowledge of key regulations regarding the provision of financial services
• Capability to deal with very complex systems
• General understanding of financial markets and financial products
• Understanding of risk identification and measurement concepts (VaR, LGD and similar)
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• CFA or FRM is a huge plus
• Professional experience in an audit-related role within a financial institution is preferred
• Degree in Finance, Economics or Mathematics is preferable
• Fluency in English
• Understanding of all acronyms used in this job advertisement
