INSURANCE MANAGER (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Insurance and Risk team at Ignitis Renewables, where you will help manage insurance requirements to enable the sustainable growth of our onshore portfolio. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Gathering relevant information, assessing, and evaluating risks associated with renewable energy operations
• Evaluating and negotiating insurance policies, ensuring optimal coverage and cost-effectiveness
• Handling insurance claims efficiently, liaising with insurers and internal stakeholders
• Maintaining and updating insurance documentation and records accurately
• Maintaining a close dialogue with other departments to align insurance strategies with business objectives
• Monitoring industry trends and regulatory changes affecting insurance policies and practices
• Providing expert advice and training on insurance matters to internal teams.

• Graduate-level education or equivalent qualification in Economics, Law, or Risk Management
• At least 5 years of experience in insurance companies, brokerage firms, or in a similar role within a complex, international business environment. Experience with renewable energy project insurance is considered an advantage
• Strong understanding of insurance products, risk management practices, and claims processes
• Solid knowledge of the insurance and brokerage market
• Excellent collaboration skills to effectively incorporate input from peers and find the best solutions for transferring business risks through insurance
• Outstanding critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English is essential, both written and spoken.
