Head of project management department (furniture production)

Our client – privately Danish-owned  company with 12 premium furniture and garment factories, operating in Lithuania, Vietnam, Belarus, Ukraine , Romania and Mexico. The group employs more than 2500 people and has an ambitious growth strategy ahead. To maintain organizational growth, we are now searching for a Head of project management team, who can inspire and lead our team of project managers through the full cycle of upholstered furniture development. The team consists of 10 people. You will have a great influence on the tasks in a solidly accelerating company surrounded by committed and responsible colleagues. You will report directly to the plant manager.

• Lead and direct the team of project managers through all aspects of the project life cycle;
• Develop and maintain the project management strategy and processes;
• Take lead in development together with our R&D team, suppliers, and customers;
• Maintain long-term relationships with existing B2B customers, suppliers and strengthen the new ones;
• Coordinate project activities with other departments;
• Provide guidance and assistance to project teams to ensure the successful completion of their projects;
• Develop and track performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the project management process;
• Manage the introduction of changes and maintain project stakeholder relations;
• Report regularly to upper management on project activities, risks, and performance.

• You are a strong project manager who understands how to execute and follow things to the door;
• A great team player with proven experience in managing teams;
• Can work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on following through and taking ownership;
• Detail orientated, organized, and able to prioritize team daily work;
• A common understanding of upholstery and sewing will be an advantage;
• English on a professional level;
• Have a bachelor’s or a master's degree in Industrial Design, Production Engineering, or similar education;
• Have knowledge of Solid Works, good skills in Microsoft Project or similar tool;
• B category driving license.
