Job Description

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the IT strategy to align with the company's business objectives, ensuring it drives digital transformation and meets operational needs.
  • People Management: Lead and manage the IT department, including infrastructure, software development, network security, and data management teams, fostering an innovative and high-performing environment.
  • Systems and Infrastructure Oversight: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and meet organizational needs.
  • Resource Optimization: Manage IT budgets effectively, optimize costs, and ensure the efficient use of resources across all IT operations.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance business processes, operational efficiency, and overall performance.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs, providing expert advice and delivering effective solutions that support business goals.
  • Project Management: Lead IT projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT team through ongoing training, development, and knowledge sharing.
  • Process Management: Ensure the smooth creation, deployment, and implementation of all IT processes across the organization, maintaining clarity in communication with stakeholders and providing clear, actionable solutions.

Requirements

  • A higher education degree in IT or a related technical field is required.
  • Proven experience working in the IT industry, preferably in software development, infrastructure or similar roles.
  • Proven experience working on digital transformation projects would be considered as an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an IT management role.
  • Proficiency in the Lithuanian language and a good command of English.
  • Ability to work with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and other relevant IT tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, achieve goals, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively with all stakeholders and adapt to changing environments.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate issues and initiate solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including handling sensitive and confidential information with care.
  • Experience working in the financial industry would be considered as an advantage.
