Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Financial Planning and Analysis division of the ESO, where you’ll be responsible for financial planning, analysis, control, and financial reporting for the entire Company . If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Leading the finance planning function, covering long-term and short-term financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business financial optimization
  • Managing financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and tax compliance
  • Driving financial operations optimization and streamlining financial reporting
  • Controlling CAPEX, OPEX, forecasts, and contingency utilization
  • Coordinating budget preparation, monthly performance reports, and long-term, short-term financial forecasts
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
  • Acting as the primary contact for auditors, Ignitis Group financial management, and other key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in finance management and control
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Very good English skills (both verbal & written)
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools
  • Ability to clearly present financial and operational performance
  • Result-oriented, responsible, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement

Would be an advantage:

  • ACCA or CFA qualification
  • Experience with financial reporting and control in the renewable energy sector
