• Strategic Implementation: Execute and implement the business development strategy and achieve set KPIs.
• Event Representation: Represent the company at industry conferences and events to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients and partners.
• Public Relations: Manage communication with journalists, ensuring the company’s achievements and goals are effectively shared with industry, public and stakeholders.
• Digital and Social Media Management: Manage the company’s website and social media, ensuring consistent and engaging content that aligns with the company’s brand.
• Public Funding: Assist in indentifying and securing National and European grants by supporting the application process, finding potential partners and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Marketing Material Creation: Develop compelling marketing materials, including pitch decks, use cases, and content for media outreach.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Life Sciences, or a degree in Management with relevant work experience in a life sciences company.
• Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of gene-editing technologies.
• Business Development Experience: Proven experience in business development roles.
• Sales and Project Management Experience: Experience in sales activities and/or managing projects.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Independence and Learning Agility: Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and perform under tight deadlines.
• Result-Oriented: Self-driven personality with strong focus on achieving results.
• Cultural Adaptability: Ability to adjust to different cultural environments.
• Travelling: Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
