We are in a truly data-driven era at Telia Lithuania and have recently built a modern data warehouse on AWS at the same time we have legacy footprint of DWHs with ambition to close legacy warehouses and re-evaluate the best way forward for the future. We are now looking for an inspiring leader to act as the Head of Analytics IT Lithuania, focusing on maintaining and optimizing data warehouses to ensure business growth and operational efficiency as well as excellence. Who we are looking for
You have a good mix of data management and analytics knowledge, IT and SAFe/DevOps experience, and leadership skills. Ideally, you have a university degree with strong experience in IT development and management, especially in data warehousing and data analytics areas. As a leader, you can see the big picture, without losing the details. You embrace working in a cross-functional team with shared goals and can influence others. We expect good communication and presentation skills in Lithuanian and English.
Your leadership skills:
Ability to keep focus and lead to success, also under pressure and in a hectic environment
Ability to work in a virtual setup and collaborate effectively with your colleagues in other teams, also cross-border
Ability to recognize talent, motivate people, and identify resource/competence gaps
Good coaching skills
Ability to keep the team spirit high and empower the team to its best performance
Support the team with technical competence
Manage priority controls as well as vendorship related task (planning, finance, contracts)
Your experience:
Strong experience of acting as a line manager for a team/unit, with proven success
Business stakeholder management experience and ability to translate business demand into executable development roadmap and action plans as well timely status report
Understanding and hands-on experience with the SAFe framework and agile development methods
Experience with Very Large Databases and IT solutions for data and analytics
Experience and knowledge of our key technologies is preferred (AWS, SAP BW, Cloudera big data stack, Qlik Sense)
Strong experience in team budget management
