Food Safety and Quality Specialist

Job Description

  • Control and assurance of the implementation of quality, hygiene, HACCP and IFS requirements;
  • Supporting the site audit programme, including conducting audits, supporting and hosting regulatory audits;
  • Initiation of changes in documentation, organization of internal and external audits;
  • Writing, reviewing and approving Quality documents as required;
  • Implementation of quality management policy, improvement of quality management systems, continuous supervision and control of process quality;
  • Organization of employee hygiene and food safety training;
  • Internal training for employees and consulting of managers on issues of quality management and improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or other science related field;
  • 1+ years of progressive food safety and quality experience preferred;
  • Knowledge of food quality and production technology processes;
  • Knowledge of HACCP, IFS or other self-monitoring systems;
  • Fluent in Lithuanian and English language;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Problem solving skills, uncompromising approach to quality.
