Food Safety and Quality Specialist

Job Description

Control and assurance of the implementation of quality, hygiene, HACCP and IFS requirements;
Supporting the site audit programme, including conducting audits, supporting and hosting regulatory audits;
Initiation of changes in documentation, organization of internal and external audits;
Writing, reviewing and approving Quality documents as required;
Implementation of quality management policy, improvement of quality management systems, continuous supervision and control of process quality;
Organization of employee hygiene and food safety training;
Internal training for employees and consulting of managers on issues of quality management and improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or other science related field;
1+ years of progressive food safety and quality experience preferred;
Knowledge of food quality and production technology processes;
Knowledge of HACCP, IFS or other self-monitoring systems;
Fluent in Lithuanian and English language;
Ability to work in a team environment;
Problem solving skills, uncompromising approach to quality.
