Energy and Automation Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Energy and Automation Manager to join our professional team in Vilnius. This person will be responsible for ensuring safe and uninterrupted supply of electricity, natural gas, potable and technical water (within the limits of our responsibility). Also ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electricity, gas, heating, ventilation, compressed air, water supply and sewerage facilities. Organizing the work of electritians, electronicians and automation specialist.

Key Responsibilities: 

OHS&S Strategy

  • Organization of work in compliance with national and company OHS&S requirements, regulations, and legislations
  • Participation in internal investigations related to OHS&S incidents & accidents
  • Compliance with the requirements of fire safety and physical security for the entire area of expertise
  • Promoting health and safety culture & behavior across all layers of the organization and in all departments
  • Participation in the preparation of OHS&S instruction for the employees of own department, instructing direct team at workplace.

Work safety organization

  • Reliable, economical and safe operation of electricity, gas, heating, plumbing and ventilation devices
  • Participation in local inspectorate investigations
  • Procurement of necessary spare parts and maintenance materials
  • Timely organization of planned preventive maintenance and periodic inspections
  • Organization of subordinate employees' training, coaching, periodic knowledge testing
  • Monitoring of the electricity load schedule and compliance with the established restriction modes
  • Controlling and enforcement of the rules of energy management
  • Correct and timely accounting of energy resources and completion of related documents
  • Prepares work safety and technological work instructions in his department
  • Ensureing the effectiveness of the system of planned and preventive repairs and periodic inspections
  • Preparation and implementation of the budget of the energy department
  • Keeping records of waste specified in procedure 9PR02, submission to handlers
  • Identification of aspects of environmental protection in the energy department
  • Responsibility for the central compressed air system.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Participating in budget drafting procedure
  • Participating in Investment drafting procedure

Requirements

  • University degree in a technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing company.
  • Practical skills in organizing maintenance for industrial automation, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read, use, and update technical drawings.
  • Talent management and team leadership experience.
  • Strong financial acumen and result orientation.
  • Proficiency in English (good communication skills required).
  • Computer and digital literacy.
  • B category driver’s license.
  • Decision-making ability, proactive approach, and initiative.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
