Job Description

We are looking for a colleague, who would join the Data Engineering team and help us take care of Microsoft Fabric data platform. Advanced data analytics will be one of our key sources of global competitive advantages. We are inviting you to be a part of DWH team while developing "Ignitis" Group Data Warehouse (DWH) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Apache Airflow;
  • Ensuring that developed solutions aligns with requirements and DWH architecture;
  • Working with Data Analyst teams to find the best DWH /BI solution for business;
  • Understanding, creating and applying technical documentation in solutions development;
  • Improving development process.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years ETL development and data warehousing experience;
  • Experience in Microsoft Fabric, Azure or cloud data platform;
  • Python programming and SQL using skills;
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse building principles, including data modelling, building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets;
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD.

Would be an advantage: 

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodologies;
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities;
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow;
  • Experience with PySpark;
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI.
