Job Description

Ensuring comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting processes, including the analysis and control of accounting data.
Direct management of the accounting department (team of 7 independent accounting professionals), ensuring the quality of their work. This includes assessing substitution plans, reviewing internal processes, and updating work instructions. (It’s important to understand how the candidate evaluates team workload and other related aspects.)
Preparation and submission of financial reports to shareholders in accordance with international accounting standards (IAS).
Preparation and submission of financial and tax reports to government authorities.
Maintaining accounting processes in compliance with Lithuanian financial regulations and legislation.
Developing and ensuring the implementation of company accounting policies, directives, and internal control requirements. This includes establishing procedures and methodologies (currently led by the Finance Director, with some input from accountants themselves).
Providing recommendations to optimize company accounting and financial management processes, and contributing to the development of accounting and related operations.
Engaging in project-based accounting activities at both company and group levels.
