Incumbent reports to the Force Protection Detachment (FPD) Special Agent-in-Charge (SAIC). Incumbent is responsible for administrative and logistical functions supporting FPD operations in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Tracks office expenses, monitors International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) workload and assists with budgetary planning. Coordinates, tracks and reports on U.S. military engagements, transiting personnel, aircraft, and U.S. Naval vessels in the Baltic States. Compiles and edits data for inclusion into FPD reporting. Incumbent manages administration of the FPD liaison and commodities program. Logistical responsibilities include ensuring proper functioning of FPD computers and communication equipment, serving as the vehicle and equipment officer and maintaining the FPD’s office equipment inventory.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE: Two years of previous work experience with administrative responsibilities is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Incumbent must have strong computer skills and familiarity with working in a professional office environment. A working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Completion of high school education required.
LANGUAGE: Good working knowledge (Level III) reading and writing English language ability is required (may be tested).
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have strong computer and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills required for organizing files and maintaining up-to-date records. Must be skilled at the use of MS Office tools for drafting documents, e-mails, spreadsheets, and presentations. Must be flexible, able to multi-task and manage own workload. Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively deal with people from different backgrounds and cultures. Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
