Job Description

Your future role will include:

  • Lead Accounting Services: Oversee accounting functions for assigned portfolios in foreign jurisdictions, including the Netherlands (NL), Cyprus (CY), the United Arab Emirates (AEU), the United States (US), and others.
  • Ensure Timely Reporting and Compliance: Supervise the preparation and submission of financial reports and ensure adherence to local accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This includes statutory and management accounting, year-end and statutory reporting, local tax compliance, and other official financial reporting obligations.
  • Manage Annual Audits: Coordinate and ensure the successful completion of annual audits, working closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and address any issues.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations: Liaise with clients, auditors, tax advisors, and other third parties to maintain positive relationships, manage expectations, and meet deadlines.
  • Business Development: Lead the accounting aspects of new project developments. Support business growth by ensuring appropriate accounting treatments and contributing to strategic initiatives.
  • Team Management and Development: Plan team resources in alignment with business needs, participate in recruitment and selection, and lead, coach, and develop the accounting team. Foster a high-performing team culture and drive professional growth.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 2 years in a senior management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team and lead the financial strategy.
  • A proactive personality with a drive to push things forward.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Lithuanian and English.
  • At least a BSc in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
