The British Embassy in Vilnius is part of a world-wide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is looking for a Regional Procurement Manager for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office’s Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia Directorates. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing regional procurement activity, managing a team of Procurement Leads and a Procurement Assistant, supporting the Regional Procurement Management team as well as working with customers and other procurement teams across the network developing and co-ordinating delivery of procurement solutions which meet customer requirements and achieve Value for Money in accordance with UK regulations.

This role will require the job holder to work independently on a day-to-day basis, setting their own goals and targets that align with the wider team. The job holder will need to be able to solve problems by weighing up a number of choices that balance the needs of operational efficiency, customer service and procurement policy and in doing so will be making operational decisions that they may need to justify and defend.

This is a full-time, permanent contract, of 35 net hours per week.
The start date for the position is as soon as possible, subject to the availability of the candidate and the length of the recruitment process.
