We are currently seeking a team member to join our Ignitis Renewables team as project HSSEQ Manager for our offshore wind project, a pivotal role of an offshore project. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Establish and communicate the HSSEQ Management System Manual and necessary plans, procedures, and guidelines for project development and execution
- Set and communicate project HSEQ objectives and programs
- Monitor project resources, competence, and tools within the HSSEQ framework
- Oversee risk analysis methodologies, procedures execution, and closure of actions
- Define HSSEQ requirements for contracts and evaluate tenders
- Ensure contractors comply with contractual HSEQ requirements and performance standards
- Ensure timely reporting and analysis of undesired events
- Foster a health and safety culture and HSE awareness among the workforce through management safety site tours, meetings, and incentives.
Qualifications
- Have 10+ years working experience within high hazard industry, i.e. construction, oil and gas, onshore and/or offshore wind renewable industry, of which a minimum of 5 years’ experience within offshore wind projects
- Have experience working with HSEQ policies and strategies, working knowledge of HSE legislation and international standards
- Are highly motivated individual with a proactive attitude, hands-on mentality and pragmatic and fact focused attitude and approach
- Have excellent communication skills, enabling you to communicate your messages efficiently to stakeholders at all organisational levels, internally and externally
- Are willing to travel both during project development and execution phases between the Baltic region and other EU locations
- Have relevant and recognised professional qualification - ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001; Audit qualification, ISO 45001/14001/9001 along with experience in incident investigation using a formal RCA process
- Have up-to-date knowledge of current trends and best practices in occupational health, safety and environment.
