Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Energy law team, where you’ll participate in financing projects, manage related legal matters, and oversee associated processes.

This position presents a unique opportunity to work on large-scale international projects, gain insights into business processes, apply your legal expertise, and drive breakthroughs in the renewable energy sector within the Baltic region. Our mission is to mitigate climate change, protect the environment, and ensure energy security in the region.

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Advising on finance law and legal matters regarding project financing and other financing instruments, including those with an international scope
  • Participating in financing projects, managing legal matters and related processes
  • Directly participating in business projects as well as negotiations with potential and existing financiers, business partners and their representatives, ensuring the management of business and legal risks
  • Drafting and review legal documentation for financing transactions
  • Liaising with legal and other advisors, the project team and business colleagues, take interest in legal matters regarding project development.

Qualifications

  • University degree in law (master’s degree or higher)
  • 5+ years of legal work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in finance or M&A transactions
  • The ability to deal with complex legal issues, reconcile different expectations and have good negotiation and coordination skills
  • Fluency in English and Lithuanian

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience in working on international financing projects
